This is a loose non-album demo that I've had floating around for awhile. When I wrote Upper Wind I was thinking about breath/wind/air - in music, in TCM and more abstractly as an impetus and force. While it should go without saying that breath is a human right - the voice/breath/life of people of color continue to be stifled by widespread, systemic racism from police and citizens. The world can't rest until our air is shared + people of color feel safe to live their lives. I've set this track for $5 - pay what you can and all proceeds will be donated to the Minnesota Freedom Fund (minnesotafreedomfund.org/donate).
