Diane Morrisey on Instagram: "I swear I make green beans 5 times a week. Everyone in the House loves them and this version often is the one requested and they are so easy to do. I simply steam some green beans ahead of time (literally just steam for 3-4 minutes, remove from water and run under cold water to stop the cooking). These can be made and stored in fridge for a couple of days before you finish the dish. Next I sauté a shallot and a couple cloves of garlic until they are aromatic. I add a heaping tablespoon (or whatever your heat tolerance is) of @bonodisiciliausa Hot Calabrese Peppers and stir that in. Let them simmer for about a minute and then add in the green beans and stir it all together. Season with a little salt. Plate them up and then add some pine nuts that I browne

Jamie Walton | Nettles & Petals on Instagram: "My Favourite Tomato Variety! 🍅👈🏻 If I could only grow one tomato variety in the vegetable garden, this would likely be it. 🍅🌱 Costoluto Fiorentino is a large, ribbed beefsteak tomato variety, originally from the Tuscany region in Italy. 🇮🇹 It produces a really heavy crop, is good for canning and preservation and is just an all round great looking tomato with a flavour to match. 😋🍅 I grow them as annual plants, here in the UK, but I save seed from a couple of the best examples to grow the following season. So what’s your favourite tomato variety? 😊 #tomatoplant #heirloomtomatoes #gardening #gardeningtips #growyourownfood"
