Cedarlore Forge - David DelaGardelle - The Stags Strength sword, finally finished and assembled on this rainy summer day. I'm now working on its matching leather-wrapped scabbard. The pommel features the customers family crest, and carved motifs of summer leaves and acorns in the antler inlays. This sword is a blend of historic/late-medieval and mythical sources of inspiration. Meant to encapsulate the emotion and aesthetic of old English forests, and instead of merely being a "hunting" sword it has the implication of also protecting the forest and the wild stags in it, instead of solely hunting them. | Facebook
