Prep the balloon: Use a funnel to fill a balloon with 2–3 tablespoons of baking soda. Set it aside carefully so the powder doesn’t spill. 2. Fill the bottle: Pour ½ cup of vinegar into the empty bottle. Add food coloring to the vinegar for extra visual flair (optional). 3. Attach and lift: Carefully stretch the balloon’s neck over the bottle’s opening without letting the baking soda fall in yet.
