Here are MY rules for “place”. ✅Place is NOT their bed or crate. It’s something that is put out when in use and taken away when not used. Their bed or crate is left out 24/7 and has no rules. It’s hard for a some dogs to remember when they got on the bed on their own or try to remember if you told them to get on and stay on it. By having a different “place” you eliminate this confusion. 👉🏼Having a dog do an auto place away from the door is also a lot less tempting for some dogs. ✅The pup can do anything she wants in place as long as she stays on it.
