Luke Brown on Instagram: "Cheesy Beef and Bean Tacos on the griddle won’t disappoint! 🌮🔥 INGREDIENTS 1 lb ground beef 1 chopped onion 1/2 tsp salt and pepper 1/4 tsp cayenne 2 tsp chili powder 1 tsp each of cumin and dried cilantro 16 oz can refried beans 24 count Mission street taco white corn tortillas Avocado oil (or any oil) Shredded cheddar cheese Taco toppings (pico de gallo, sour cream, taco sauce) INSTRUCTIONS Add 1 lb of ground beef and a chopped onion to a griddle over medium high heat. Season with salt, pepper, cayenne, chili powder, cumin, and dried cilantro. Once the beef is cooked through drain the grease. Add one can of refried beans, stir well, and lower the heat. You can get 30-35 grams of protein and about 15 grams of fiber the way I do it. •1 large tortilla (I use @missionfoodsus carb balance for more protein and lots of fiber) •2 tbsp mayo •1 tbsp hot sauce @alchemypeppers Fresno is incredible •1 3oz piece of breaded chicken or plain works too •2 tbsp lettuce thinly sliced •¼ avocado •¼ cup shredded cheese How to : Cut a slit in the tortilla halfway through. Mix the mayo and hot sauce. Spread over ¼ of the tortilla. Cook the chicken according to packaging instructions (I like the air fryer). Slice the chicken then top over the spicy mayo. Add the shredded lettuce to another ¼, avocado to ¼ part of the tortilla, then in the last ¼, place the cheese.
