Before I get into it, if you're interested in the products used for this transformation, comment ✨️ COLOR ✨️ for the links sent straight to your inbox! I'm a private person. So while I won't tell you my annual income, I will tell you this⤵️ You do the math... I left a corporate sales position in retail furniture five years ago to pursue my own furniture restoration and refinishing business. I had intended to only supplement my savings with my business to avoid pulling from my savings. Instead, I have been able to replace my income from my previous position and build a business that supports two full-time and one part-time employees. We average 75% ROI for each piece. Each piece sells anywhere from $1000
Samantha Stoddard | diy & furniture flips on Instagram: "Smoker’s House Furniture Flip 💨 Pt. 1 This dresser stoped me dead in my tracks while scrolling @facebookmarketplace, and I had to have it. Once I got it home, I realized it had been in a smokers house for a long time…but could still be saved 👌🏼 Head to my IG stories for behind the scenes of this flip & all products used! If they’re expired, they’re saved in a highlight under “Smoker House Flip”! I’ll see you tomorrow for Pt. 2! 🫶🏼 #diy #thrifted #furnituremakeover #upcycle #homedecor #home"
Charlotte Allen | HOW TO DIY on Instagram: "⭐️⭐️⭐️HOW TO ⭐️⭐️⭐️ HOW TO video for my DIY followers I often see huge gaps just filled with caulk! This doesn’t give you the best finish and will most likely just crack. Always fill the gaps first, then a tiny bead of caulk before painting is more than enough 👌 If you working with bare wood, please prime it first 🙏 Follow for more decorating content 💪 #howtodecorate #diytutorial #instagramdecorator #bedroomtransformation #bedroommakeover #howto"

7 Arch Cabinet Makerovers
The most commonly asked question I get when I post about my arches is how I find them! Honestly, they just pop up on my Facebook Marketplace! I have found all 7 of these within the last year and a half, spending between $80-$500 on each of them. Arches have kind of become a part of my brand so I’ll never stop doing them 😂 I’m always on the look out! Which archie is your favorite?!👇🏼 #restoration #antique #furniture #furnitureflip #paintedfurniture #home #furnituredesign Video Credit: breeya_shade

This is the third time I’ve created this look on a set of oak nightstands and they sell SO quickly every time! Can you guess how long this set took to sell? 🤔 So many talented artists have created this look before me! I’m not sure where it originated, but the first person I remember seeing do this was @pnwrefurbished ♥️
How to Black Wash Furniture - Oak & Grain Home
“This black washed chest of drawers may be the most forgiving project ever!” Black washing technique can give your old, worn-out furniture a new lease on life. It gives the perfect worn look without being chippy like milk paint. This technique involves applying a dark, thin coat of paint to your furniture, then wiping it away to create a distressed, vintage look that’s full of depth. I love this look because it looks like a black wood stain, but with only a fraction of the work!

Love vintage furniture but Hate the dark finish?
Video Credit: rediscoveredbydanielle Love vintage furniture but Hate the dark finish? This chest of drawers was beautiful but the dark orange finish just didn’t work for our home so I decided to lighten them with an upcycle. First I gave them a good clean before sanding back the old varnish. I then sealed and washed them to create this lighter finish. What do you think of the new look? #upcycle #vintage #bedroom #diy #reno #paintedfurniture #beforeandafterfurniture #furnituremakeover
415K views · 13K reactions | A lot of the veneer on this depression era dresser was already missing and what was left was barely hanging on. I scraped off what I could and then used a wet rag and an old iron to steam off the rest from the top and drawer fronts. After sanding everything smooth, and filling in a few dents, I primed the whole thing to create consistent base for my paint. I sprayed on two coats of a @fusionmineralpaint Coal Black and tinted some satin polyurethane with a dollop of the same colour. Putting poly over darker colours can be crusted because it often ends up looking streaky or cloudy but tinting it a touch, really helps with that. The new brass flower knobs that I found on Amazon matched the detail on the top of the mirror perfectly and now this forgotten old girl is looking incredible again!
