There are 18 stars that are glued and set into the blue shells. The brass ends on the frame corners will match the red shell brass option color or the stars if you chose to have stars added. The frame is hand burned to bring out the beauty of the wood grain and will vary with each frame. American made. Outer dimension is approximately 24in. x 15 1/2in. The flag is ready to hang on your wall. NOTE that these shells have holes poked through the sides of the hulls and are NOT usable for anything else. Holes in the are clearly visible in the pictures.
