HOW IT IS CONSTRUCTED Built from solid poplar wood and has poplar edge banding and MDF. Crafted with mortise-and-tenon joinery for structural integrity. Drawer features English dovetail joinery, and waxed wooden glides that ensure smooth motion. Sturdy half-moon safety stop keeps drawer securely in place. Kiln-dried wood helps prevent warping, splitting, cracking and developing mildew. Our finishes were developed exclusively for Pottery Barn Kids and are sealed with a final coat of lacquer for extra durability.
