Lucite Purses: What Is It? What Is It Worth?

This Lucite purse was made in the 1950s by Charles S. Kahn, a Miami, Florida-based manufacturer whose showstopping bags were often designed with a solid metallic color and spun silk-like finish. Plastic handbags designed by Kahn are often identifiable by a distinctive clasp, which features three metal balls. Kahn's paper labels were placed inside the purse below the hinge of the lid.
