30min · 10 servings Preparing the sherbet • 0,5 L water • 300 sugar • Mix water with sugar and boil until you have a thicker consistency • Put to cool down, should be still warm when you stir in the next step Helva at home • 250g flour • 200g butter • 100ml water • Mix together in a big pot until the butter and flour blend in completely and get a darker color (mix the whole time to avoid buring • Once you have a nice color, stir in the warm (not hot) sherbet into the flour mix • Mix it all carefully and close the tab of the big bit for a moment to let infuse • Mix again and then form them as you wish • I like to make half moons with a spoon 🥄 • If you wish top with roasted caramelized nuts
