Stockings!
Stocking hanging board. There's no fireplace in our new house. I wonder if you could put it in a spot where it could be used for sweaters or some other kind of hanging during the year. (Or maybe a curtain rod hung somehow instead of hooks? Then you could add more stockings without much trouble in case of company or more kids. Gotta figure it out by next year.)
