Spicy Wontons are like the spicy younger siblings of dumplings, packed with savory meat and drenched in bold homemade chili oil sauce. I used to make hundreds of wontons everyday using this hack my mom taught me! Wontons is something I grew up eating, and I am so glad you love it as much as I do🤍 Earlier this year, I started making videos and was hoping that I can get 10K followers by the end of the year. Ingredients: 1 pack (50) wonton wrapper 200g ground pork 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp sesame oil 2 tsp ginger, finely grated 3 clove garlic, minced 1 green onion, chopped 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp white pepper 1 large egg Chili Oil (store bought or homemade) Homemade chili oil recipe: 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp black vinegar 1/2 tbsp chili flakes 1/2 tsp chili powder 3 clove garlic, minced 1 green onion, chopped 2 tbsp hot oil Directions: 1. In a large powl, combine ground pork, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, green onion, salt, and white pepper. Use your hand to mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated. Then add the egg and mix again until the filling forms a smooth and sticky paste. 2. Use a tongue depressor or wooden stick to scoop 1 tsp of filling and place it onto the center of a wonton wrapper. Use your other hand to wrap the filling around and make a fist to seal the edges. Slide the wooden stick out and repeat the process with the remaining wonton filling and wrappers. Alternatively, you can use a spoon to scoop the filling. 3. To cook the wontons, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Stir gently with a spatula or spoon, and cook until the wontons are floating to the top. Transfer the wontons to a bowl, add chili oil/sauce, serve hot and enjoy! | Christian Ou

Mix until the sugar dissolves and set aside. 3️⃣ Fill up a pie dish (or large bowl) with warm water and place two damp paper towels on a cutting board. Working one sheet at a time, soak the rice paper in water for 10-15 seconds (don't leave it in too long bc it will continue to soften as you work) and place it textured side down on the paper towel lined cutting board. Cut the rice paper in half down the middle and put 1 slightly heaping Tbsp of filling in the middle of each piece.  Fold the sides over the filling to form a triangle shape, fold the top tip of the triangle over, then flip the dumpling and fold the excess rice paper over the filling on the other side. Place the folded dumplings on a paper towel lined sheet pan. 4️⃣ In a large nonstick skillet, heat 1 Tbsp avocado oil over medium heat. Working in batches, add the dumplings to the skillet, rubbing the bottoms in oil, leaving space in between each. Cook on the first side until golden brown on the bottoms (4-6 mins). Flip and cook until golden brown and and internal temp is 165F (2-4 mins). Repeat, adding 1 Tbsp of oil between each batch, until all the dumplings are cooked. The dumplings may cook faster as the skillet heats up, so check the bottoms frequently to monitor their progress. 5️⃣ Serve with sauce spooned on top and enjoy! ⏲1 hour total prep + cook time Recipe makes 40 dumplings | Maxi's Kitchen

Enter this salad—no lettuce, so it’s perfect for meal prep and it’s packed with so many flavors and textures, ahhhhhhh!!!⁣ ⁣ Crispy Rice:⁣ 2 cups cooked rice, cooled (I recommend jasmine rice)⁣ 2 tsp sesame oil ⁣ 1/2 tsp cumin⁣ 1/2 tsp chipotle powder⁣ ⁣ Ground chicken (optional):⁣ 1 lb ground chicken ⁣ 3 tb taco seasoning (I used @sietefoods)⁣ ⁣ Salad:⁣ 5 Persian cucumbers, thinly sliced (or 1 large English cucumber)⁣ 1 cup baby tomatoes, halved⁣ 1 15 oz can black beans⁣ 3/4 cup corn⁣ 1 small red onion, thinly aliced⁣ 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced ⁣ 1/2 cup pepitas ⁣ ⁣ Dressing:⁣ 1 avocado⁣ 1 lime, juiced ⁣ 1/3 cup olive oil⁣ 2 cloves garlic⁣ 1/2 cup greek yogurt⁣ 1/4 cup cilantro⁣ 1 tsp cumin⁣ 1/2 tsp sea salt⁣ 1/2 tsp black pepper ⁣ (water as needed to thin)⁣ ⁣ First, prepare the crispy rice topping. Bake for 30-35 minutes, tossing half way through (just watch to make sure it doesn’t burn). Remove from the oven, break into small pieces and set aside. Next, saute the ground beef in taco seasoning until cooked through and set aside. Next, make the dressing. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend for about 1 minute until smooth. Taste and adjust as necessary. Set aside. Finally, chop/slice all of the ingredients for the salad and add to a large bowl. Add the ground chicken and crispy rice on top.
