Enjoy baking and happy Valentines Day! 🥰🤍 📝 Ingredients (makes about 8 pieces) • 1 sheet of puff pastry (store-bought, refrigerated) • 4–5 tbsp raspberry or strawberry jam • 1 egg yolk (for brushing) • Pearl sugar • Powdered sugar for dusting 🤍 Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 200–220°C (390–430°F) top/bottom heat (follow the instructions on the puff pastry package). 2. Unroll the puff pastry from the long side and cut it into even rectangles (about 10 x 12 cm). 3. Spread about 1 tsp of jam on each square, leaving the edges free. Carefully roll up the squares from one side to the other. Fold one tip over the other to form a loop. 4. Make a small slit in the center with a sharp knife, but do not cut all the way through—leave about 1 cm (⅓ inch) intact. Twist the heart once to the right and once to the left, then gently press it into shape with your fingers. 5. Place the hearts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle a little pearl sugar on top. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, until crispy and lightly golden brown. 7. Let the pastries cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving. Enjoy! 😍 | Food with Style | Facebook

I make a chicken pot pie with phyllo dough. | By Justine Kameron | Alright, I just lined my grease sheet pan with my filo dough. I'm next going to come in with some melted butter in a little brush and we're going to do a nice little brush of butter on top of our entire sheet pan. We want this to be a delicious buttery dinner. Alright and we're going to save the rest of that butter for later. I'm going to move this to the side and bring in a medium bowl in a spatula. I have here my family size cream of chicken soup. And we're going to get all of that out. I have my spatula to help me. But we are making a super easy one sheet pan dish that I think your family will love. So great for an easy weekday dinner. I have some shredded chicken. I just boiled some chicken and shredded it. And then some mixed vegetables. Right in there. I probably needed a bigger bowl now that I'm looking at that. But we're going to quickly season this before we mix it in and I have some garlic powder. This is a big serving so we gotta season it well and some onion powder. And that's all I'm using for my seasoning. I'm going to keep it super simple. Probably stuff you already have in your seasoning jar. But we're giving this a good mix. The cream of mushroom, the chicken, the mixed veggies. You can use fresh veggies or canned veggies but I like frozen best. It's affordable and it adds some moisture as they cook. Okay so let's give this a mix. This is coming together so beautifully. Mm mm mm. Alright. This is perfect mix. So we're going to bring back our shepan with our filo dough and we are just going to kind of scoop our chicken pot pie mixture right on top of our filo dough. We will give it a little bit of a spread but we kind of just want some good pieces right on top of that dough. This is going to be crispy. It's going to be creamy. It's going to be everything you want in a super easy dinner. And it'll only take you a couple minutes put together. Mm mm mm. Alright I think I may too much of my chicken pot pie mixture so you can cut the recipe in half or you can make it and save the rest for something else alright that looks good so now we're going to kind of just spread it be kind of gentle because we don't want to ruin our filo dough the butter does help it stay and as we spread it if we feel like it needs more we can add more but this smells so good I love cream of chicken so I do think it needs a little bit more so maybe we did make the perfect amount alright that looks absolutely perfect. So, I do have some extra filo dough. So, we're going to grab our filo dough and we're going to do another layer right on top of our chicken pot pie mixture just like so and like I said, we're going to use the rest of that butter. I'm going to do another quick butter wash on top of our second layer of filo dough Perfect. Now you could just leave it like this but I am someone who loves cheese in her chicken pot pies. I know that's controversial. So I'm just going to add a light little sprinkle of cheese on top of our second layer of fila dough. This will give it a nice little crisp even though it's already going to be really crispy. But I just love cheese and so does my hubby. Oh extra cheese please. So about you know one fourth of a standard bag of cheese should do it. And you can use whatever cheese you like. I just think chicken pot pie goes it with cheddar. Beautiful. Alright, my oven is set to 375 and this is going to be in there for about 25 minutes. Oh my. Alright, Archie's got extra crispy. You can put it on like halfway if you don't want it as crispy but this looks incredible. It is time to dig in. Let's see if we can oh do you hear that crunch? Nice and crunchy. Oh, this is going to be delicious. Look at that. A new take on chicken Popeye and it's probably going to be your favorite. Be careful to me really hot. Is it good?

Roll up each side to meet in the middle leaving about 1 inch between them, bring the two circle in at the top to touch and pinch in the bottom well to create a heart shape. Cook for 32-35 min While it’s in the oven bring the water and raspberries to a boil and simmer for about 2 minutes. Sieve the fruit compote and keep on the side for the icing. Once the pastries are out of the oven mix the sieved raspberry compote with the icing sugar, adding 1 tsp at a time until you get the desired consistency. Pipe around as shown or spoon some icing around the edges. I’ve already made these 3 times and they’re a huge crowd pleaser and so easy to make Enjoy D 🩷 #palmier #orejas #palmeras #valentinesfood | Mumsfoodies | Facebook
