Anterior Oblique Sling
⭐️⭐️⭐️Anterior Oblique Subsystem⭐️⭐️⭐️ ✅ This post focuses on exercises one can perform to train the Anterior Oblique subsystem/sling (AOS) 📚 The AOS primarily consists of the: internal & external obliques, Adductor complex, & hip external rotators. 💯 The AOS functions in the transverse plane - rotation featuring the anterior portion of the body. 💎 The AOS muscles aid in pelvic stability, rotation, & stabilization across the sacroiliac joint. 🚶♀️As a result, the AOS contributes to leg swing when one walks as it assists in rotating the pelvis in the transverse plane. ⚡️ The AOS is also antagonist to the Posterior Oblique subsystem (POS).
