Beatriz was born in the small village of Santa Maria of Trassierra (near Cordoba) in a family of peasant farmers and small share holders.She was from a noble family of Cordoba, Spain. Negrinho do Pastoreio- a little slave boy who was mistreated by a farmer. He was in charge of 30 horses, but he fell asleep and lost them twice. The farmer beat him and left him to die on an anthill. Later, the farmer saw him standing on the hill, with no injuries, with mother Mary, patron of the orphan, standing next to him. He galloped away on one of the horses he lost. He now helps people find lost things if you light a candle in front of an ant hill and ask him for the object to appear.
