Are you needing some new classroom ideas on how to make teaching time fun for your elementary classroom? Today I talk about fun telling time activities for kids that you can use in your lesson plans. I include classroom activities for teaching time to the hour and half hour, give multiple telling time games and recommendations for books about telling time. You won’t want to miss the Spring activity I include that is perfect for math centers, math workshop or guided math.

At 'Little Owls Resources' we have created these Challenge cards for children to use with building blocks/bricks. Children look closely at the pattern on the cards and attempt to copy them with the blocks. Ideal for observational skills, consolidating colour knowledge, fine motor control development and communication and language e.g. describing patterns/colours and discussing similarities and differences.
