Thought this would be a good topic to cover for those looking to start their intentional wardrobe journey. When I first started a few years ago, I didn’t immediately think “I need a capsule wardrobe” but rather, “I want a cohesive & lasting wardrobe”. So I went searching for a solution, and discovered the 5-piece French wardrobe (which I later found out was the French version of a capsule wardrobe). I focused on adding & replacing worn out basics, items that were simple and that I knew would easily mix & match. And naturally, a minimal capsule wardrobe was formed.
