This tapestry depicts the elegant figure of Flora, symbolising the Spring season and fertility, amidst a background of swirling aristolochia leaves with birds and animals. The drawing of the figure is attributed to Edward Burne-Jones (1833-1898), with the rich background and border by William Morris (1834-1896).
