What gives this homemade applesauce its deep beautiful color? It’s the peels. This is my no peel homemade applesauce. It’s blended after simmering which saves tons of time and makes it appealing (pun intended) to make. I don’t add any sweeteners because it’s delicious as-is. The peels also give this applesauce a rich, beautiful color.
