2M views · 32K reactions | Dollar Tree Santa in Window Decor | By Windy City Crafts | I grabbed four four by six picture frames from Dollar Tree. Go ahead and take out all of the backing so that way you're left with just the frame. But make sure that you keep the glass part and the backing part. I'm using some fix all adhesive glue. But you could also use E 6000 with a mixture of hot glue and I'm gluing two of those pieces together. And then glue the other two pieces together and then glue all of it together. And now you have yourself this faux window. I had this Santa gift bag that I believe I got from Walmart. Go ahead and start cutting that out. Place the picture frames on top of my gift bag and use a pencil to trace out where you want it to be cut. And use a pencil so that way you could erase it later on. Once you have that traced out go ahead and cut out your picture and then grab your backing from the picture frame and use some Mod Podge to be able to adhere your picture or gift bag of your choice onto it. I'm also making sure that everything is aligned perfectly because once you put these back into the picture frame, you want to make sure that your image is as close as possible to being even. Grab the glass from the picture frame and you want to use a cut-up sponge and some white acrylic paint and just begin dabbing lightly around the outer edges and as you can tell, I keep checking where the web part of the frame is covering the picture because I just want to make sure that I'm I'm covering up the brown part that's showing but I also want to make sure I'm not really covering up my image. And then go ahead and place everything back together. Look at how cute this is. And then you could leave it as is but I added some greenery to the top and then I added a bow. Another great thing to add is some fairy lights. But I just kept it alone. I think this came out super cute. This was super inexpensive to create. This would look cute on your fireplace mantle or just hanging on the wall around your house. I hope this inspired you to create your own in your own special way. If it did, please be sure to sprinkle the love. Thank you so much and I hope you all have a good rest of your day. Thanks. Bye.

74K views · 1.9K reactions | Vintage Style Dollar Tree Snowflake | By Creating Through Chaos | Hey everybody it's Janice with Creating Through Chaos. I'm going to start this project off with this wood round that I got at Walmart. I believe it's like seven maybe eight inch round and I'm going to give it a coat of white paint. And I'm just using acrylic paint because I'm going to deck podge over it. Next I'm going to take a coat of bond podge and I'm just going to put a layer of bon podge on here and then just let that dry. Next I'm going to take this vintage style napkin that I had in my napkin bundles. I took it down to one ply. And I'm going to use the two little girls here. And I'm just going to lay that right on top of the wood round. And then I'm going to cover that with some parchment paper and then I'm going to iron that on. I'm just trying to get it where exactly where I want it. I don't want to cut off too much of the features of the napkin. So just going to give that a good iron. I'm using just a this is a regular iron just a travel one. It's just smaller. And I'm using high heat with no steam. Once I have that all attached, I'm just going to take my sander and sand off all of the excess. So just sand all the way around and pull off that excess napkin. Once I have that all sanded I am going to start adding faux snow all the way around the edges. As you can tell my napkin didn't go all the way to the edge so I'm going to fill this in with the snow. Once I have that all filled in I'm going to take some pink glitter. And I'm going to put that right on top of that faux snow all the way around. I'm also going to use some white glitter as well. So it's going all the way around putting that right on top of the faux snow. And then I'm going to add some of this white glitter as well. And then I'm just going to bang off the excess. Once I have that all done I'm going to set that aside and let it dry completely. And then I'm going to take this snowflake from Dollar Tree. And I cut off the hanger. And I'm going to paint this whole snowflake with a light pink colour. So I'm going to paint just around all of the edges. I'm not going to worry about the centre too much. I am going to go somewhat into the centre enough that when I put my round in you won't see the wood. So just going this whole thing on the edges and just using that light pink. Once I have that all painted I'm going to take some white paint onto a bristled brush and just kind of splatter the white paint all the way around the whole snowflake over the pink. And I'm just using a stencil brush to this. I didn't have my toothbrush handy. It works better when you use a toothbrush. Next I'm going to use this a glitter paint that I got from Hobby Lobby. And I'm just going to paint right over all of that pink. As you can see it's just going to give it a little bit of an extra sparkle. And I'm going to go all the way around the whole snowflake using that. And for some reason this didn't get caught on foam but I glued my circle to the center of the snowflake and I added a pipe cleaner hanger. Finally I'm going take and add this sparkly white bow to the top. And then I had a silver snowflake and I'm going to add that to the center of the bow. And that is it. This project is finished. I think this turned out so super cute. I love how it's different. I love that it's pink and fun and has that vintage vibe to it. Thank you guys for watching. I hope you enjoyed this video. I hope it inspires you to make one and as always don't forget to spread the chaos.

Now, has anybody guessed what we're making yet? I'm sure some of my faithful followers have. We're also going to take and add another hefty bead of hot glue right there on the inside of the tree just to make sure the hat is staying snug or should I say the tree is staying snugly in the hat. So, we're flipped it over and we're going to do that on the friend on the front also. We're taking two of these cabinet knot knobs that I found at Ollie's for 49 cents. You know I love using wooden knobs and beads in my projects and yes you've probably guessed it. Let's flip this craft around. Let's put a hefty bead of hot glue on the back of our wooden cabinet knob and a little bit on the top and then yes let's place it in between the brim of our hat and our snow gnomes beard. Oh my goodness. I absolutely love him. He is too cute and you you know I have to chuckle whenever I add the nose to these. Now let's give him some holiday decorations for his hat. We just had some greenery in our stash and I had some of these cute pine cones that came I believe they were six in a pack from Walmart and we're just gluing them right there onto his hat to give him a little decoration. Use whatever you might have in your holiday stash. Now for the back we're going to just take a piece of ribbon tied in a knot on the bottom and then we're going to secure it to the back of our hat with some hot glue again to use this as a door hanger now you can use this as a door hanger you can include it in the middle of a wreath you can hang it on your wall on your doorknob anywhere you choose oh my goodness he is just too cute and too simple to craft for this upcoming holiday season I truly do hope you get the chance to craft one of these cuties up for yourself and thank you so much for continuing to sprinkle all of Gnome and Backyard's videos.
