My Art Work

Most of my art work is mixed media of some kind. Mixed media...um...that's art-jargon for I use a lot of different materials, some of which can't be captured with a description of a few words. Mostly, I do mosaics out of glass, jewelry, stones, and polymer clay. I'm also a Zentangle addict and have translated my love of that style into polymer clay, which, naturally, I've mixed into mosaics. ALL Polymer Clay in my pieces I have created.

Trophy--Akita. This is another one before it went into the shadowbox. These were for the Lone Star Akita Club specialty.

This is the first piece for the Great Pyrenees national. I did it as a fundraiser. This dog is actually shown in the Pyrenees mountains. Later, I was asked to move the dog to Texas and then to Oregon...sort of like the traveling gnome.

Trophy--Peak to Peak Working Dog Show in Denver. Their logo has Pikes Peak and the Front Range, so I used my artistic license to have them show up together in this print from my original. You can see how much better the photo is without the glass...actually what it looks like when you see it vs. photograph it.

Trophy--Great Pyr National in Texas. One of the shadowbox trophies. They are all the same print, but different papers and ornaments. Thse are originally French dogs, hence the Fleur de Lis.
