Tigrigna XPRMNT is a serie of reworks focused on Tigrinya Music, a specific genre you can find in northern Ethiopia and Eritrea.

From bass music, to experimental electronic landscapes, OZFERTI is exploring here this beautiful music and try to integrate traditional and popular artists in a sci-fi environment.

Tigrinya patterns distinct beats, suggesting 6/8 or 12/8 in the bass, are played most of the time in major pentatonic. Cross-rhythms and multi-melodic approaches of the songs are a typical signature of this wonderful music.
