Banana’s Foster Upside Down Puff Pastry (recipe below) it includes all of the fixins — toasted pecans, 🍨 & a brown sugar-bourbon sauce! Brush parchment with butter, sprinkle with a generous amount of brown sugar & a smidgeon of cinnamon. Top with halved bananas. Cover with puff pastry. Using a fork press down the edges then stab the top of the pastry 5-6 times. Brush the top with egg wash & generously sprinkle with turbinado sugar. Bake at 400°F for 20-22 mins or until puff pastry is golden brown & cooked through. Allow to cool slightly, top with ice cream, drizzle with caramel (or brown sugar bourbon sauce) & finish with pecans.

While cannelloni takes a little more effort than just spooning sauce on cooked pasta, there’s something really nice about the whole process of making it and it comes out of the oven looking rather impressive! We like the way the top edges of the pasta go crunchy and golden while the underside is soft and creamy. We’ve used crème fraîche instead of fussing around with cheese sauce – it’s readily available in the soft cheese section at the supermarket. #recipe #cannelloni #pasta #familyfavourite
