We built the custom mailbox from scratch. It started with a concrete form, that included an outflow drain for our french drain. Then we built a wood frame structure to hold the pre fab mailbox from dvault. We used talavera tiles to match accents in the rest of our house and stuccoed the remainder. It is large enough to accept most packages and several weeks of mail. The side has an access panel which opens to reveal a hidden storage area. Behind it is a 20 Y.O. canary island date palm.
