So, I thought I would throw together a super easy slow cooker meal and I'm actually going to making our slow cooker Ritz Chicken. It's the most popular recipe on our blog. It has been there for years and it's the best. So, definitely make it if you have not checked it out yet. Um there's a a version you can do on there that you can make in the oven but I'm going to do the slow cooker version today because it's the easiest and the best thing, sorry. If you see a little toddler running around, the coloring books I set out didn't last as long as I had planned but that is life. I'm going to throw this together super quick. It's only six ingredients. Um I'm going to start by just spraying my slow cooker with some non-stick cooking spray. I also love the slow cooker liners. You can find them next to like the saran wrap at the grocery store but those are amazing if you are even more short on time because you don't have to wash out your slow cooker or you can just rinse it out. So, the recipe calls for six chicken breasts. We only have three of us that will actually eat a big meal. So, I just bought this pack before so I'm just going to use that. It's okay if they overlap a little bit. Okay and then I'm going to mix together a can of cream of chicken soup. And two cups of sour cream and I forgot a measuring cup so I'm just going to kind of eyeball it you really cannot mess this recipe up it's so good and so easy okay so I'm just going to mix those together until they are combined oh that is not a pretty scent so sorry this has been our number one recipe for I'm not even kidding probably six years doesn't matter the season doesn't matter what else we put on there this is always the most viewed and most reviewed recipe if you don't believe me go on to Six Sisters Stuff look for Ritz Chicken and then just read some of the comments because it is a huge hit with everyone okay so I've mixed that together and I'm just going to spread it over top of my chicken I also love that I don't have to pull out like a bunch of spices for this I can just mix these things together and it's still super flavorful if you want to do a little salt and pepper on your chicken breasts you totally can but I promise you it does not even need it we also have a version on our site it's on the same exact post so if you find this on Six Sisters Steph sometimes I will forget to throw it in the slow cooker so you can totally bake this in the oven same exact steps so but we put the full instructions on the website so you can see that there too if you don't like your slow cooker or if you are this and you don't have enough time to let it cook all day. So, for the topping, I have a cup and a/ 2 of Ritz crackers that I've just crumpled up. Um you can use your food processor. You can put em in a Ziploc bag and hit it with what is it called? A rolling pin, whatever you do to crush your crackers. It's okay if they're a little bit chunky. It makes it good and then I have a/ 2 a cup of melted butter. So, I'm just going to throw that in there and mix that together. It's always a little bit scary when the toddler is quiet. I don't know where he went but it's okay. We will find out after I guess. Okay, we're pretty baby here. So, I'm just using a spoon. So, now I'm just going to put this over top of my chicken over top of that cream of chicken soup, sour cream mixture. Just sprinkle it as evenly as possible. Just to kind of coat your chicken. This is the best part. So, do not skip the step. This is what makes it so good. This is the meal my husband request on his birthday every year and I don't think he realizes how easy it is and I'm not going to tell him because I want him to think that I'm slaving away for him, right? Okay. That is good. I kind of have a smaller slow cooker. So, that filled it up pretty quickly. Okay, that's literally it. We usually, I usually top it with a little bit of parsley. Um this is in the recipe. You can do it before. You can do it after it cooks as like a garnish but just going to sprinkle a little bit on top here. That's not coming out. Okay. So, I'm going to find my lid. Oh, alright as prepared okay I'm just going to cook this on low for six to seven hours or you can do it on high for 4 -5 hours and then this one is awesome because it's so good over rice it's good with potatoes you can eat it plain I usually like to serve it with some type of salad the cream of chicken soup and sour cream kind of turns into like a good gravy so it is delicious and I know a lot of you love to see a final product but I am making this my family today. This is what we're having for dinner. So, I didn't make it twice but if you had the Six Sisters stuff, look for Slow Cooker Ritz Chicken. Um there is a nine by 13 version if you don't like to do it in the slow cooker. I don't think we've tried this one in the instant pot yet but maybe that's something that I will play around in.
