Halez Garcia at Home on Instagram: "How to make solid perfume:

Beeswax pellets
Jojoba oil
Vitamin e oil (optional)

The ratio is usually 1/2 beeswax and 1/2 oil, for one batch I tested out adding vitamin e oil and it worked great, it was a bit softer but still very solid!

(The amount you use will depend on the size of your containers)

4 tbsp beeswax
4 tbsp jojoba oil
1 tbsp vitamin e oil
10 drop of essential oil per tablespoon (so 90 drops of essential oil-I usually just guess lol)

Use a double broiler so your pots don’t smell like fragrances! Add some water to a pot (don’t let the water touch your double broiler) and bring water to a boil. Melt the beeswax, jojoba and vitamin e oil over medium heat. Measure out your essential oils so they’re ready. Once your beeswax, vitamin e and jo

•
They’re easy to grow (even in containers) and they’ll decorate your yard with these bright colors all season long!

Many people know that nasturtiums are edible flowers, and they’ll pick them for a peppery addition to salads.

Beyond the flowers, the whole plant is edible too (and delicious).

The leaves are often made into nasturtium pestos and compound butters…and all manner of other nasturtium recipes.

But they’re not just edible, nasturtiums are also medicinal flowers!

The “peppery” flavor in the flowers lends a hint at how they’re used, since they’re naturally anti-microbial and an expectorant.

Do we need it? Will we burn? Is it safe?

Comment SUN below for more info on safe sunscreens and natural alternatives you can trust! ☀️ Because here’s what the mainstream won’t tell you...

The sunscreen industry rakes in $800M+ a year, but many of those products are packed with hormone-disrupting, coral-killing, and c-ncer-promoting ingredients 😬

That’s why we’re doing it differently.

If you’re into DIY, here’s a simple, natural sun salve recipe you can make at home (no zinc needed!):

• 3 tbsp olive oil
• 3 tbsp coconut oil
• 1 tbsp raspberry seed oil
• 1 tbsp beeswax

Melt oils on low heat, add beeswax until melted, pour into a jar, and let cool. Rub on before sun exposure and reapply every few hours. P
