Decoupage Made Easy. . . . #DIYCrafts #hack #lifehacks #tips #tricks #hacks #diy #howto #usefultips #smarttips #hacklife #lifehackideas... | By Our Upcycled Life | You ever deco podge with the napkin burning technique, all you need is one ply of napkins, some Mod Podge, and then you're going to lay your napkin on top of those words and before it dries, you don't want your Mod Podge to dry. You're going to cut off the extra and then get a lighter. Make sure you have a water bottle handy in case it flares up a little bit and just start lighting it and look how it forms all around those letters. This works unbelievably well and you know how many hours I have spent trying to sand when I'm doing these letters and it was this easy just to do it with a lighter, some wet mod podge, poke a little holes, set it on fire, let the napkin burn away, fantastic.

I'm going to start by washing this pickle jar really well. I'm just going to soak it in hot water with soap. It's going to get all the sticky label off the outside and it's going to get that pickle smell out of the inside. Then I'm going to take the dry jar. I'm going to add pieces of twine to it. To finish off the outside, I'm wrapping a thick piece of rope around the top of the jar. Now, I'm going to fill it with some glass beads. Just pull off the stick that goes in the ground and place the light right in the jar. And Grab a Dollar Tree solar light and one of those tall glass bases. Put the base of the solar light into the base and then fill around it with some decorative stones. Remove the top of a solar light and wrap some floral loyal around it to create a swing. Place this inside a paper lantern. Grab a few small clay pots. Place the solar light into the middle and fill around it with stones to hold it in place. Grab a larger planter, place a few solar lights in it and then fill around it with rocks. So, I picked up a couple of these Dollar Store solar lights and I'm going to take 'em apart. I just need that kind of crystal plastic part and the top. So, I'm going to cover the light bulb on the bottom and then, I'm going to cover the solar panel on top and then, use a craft knife to cut around it so you get perfectly straight lines. This is a seven-inch basic embroidery hoop. So, I'm going to untwist this screw and put that aside. I'm taking them outside and I am adding a couple coats of a matte black spray paint. Make sure they're fully dry to the touch now we can assemble. So, first, we want to remove the painter's tape so that these solar lights work. On the clear plastic part, there are two little clips that help attach it to the top and I'm just going to take some floral royal and wrap it around each one of those clips. Wrap it nice and tight so it hugs the plastic closely and then, I'm able to screw the black part back on top and the wire is still going to hang out either side. I picked this chain up at the craft store. It is actually in the jewelry section. I'm going to thread the chain through the screw and tighten it about halfway. The solar light is going to hang from the inside hoop. So I'm just going to use my floral wire and wrap it around that hoop. Now I can put this middle hoop, the smaller hoop back inside the larger one. Now once everything's in place, I can tighten this screw. Grab some solar lights from Dollar Tree to create this outdoor decor. I'm going to grab a pool noodle as well. I'm going to cut this into small one-inch sections and then, I'm going to paint three of those sections, a really dark black color. I picked up this really heavy metal candle holder from a thrift store. Now, I'm going to put it all together. Then, I can grab my solar lights, pull off that bottom. I don't need that and I can glue each of the lights into the center of the pool noodle. I
