I can't think of more beautiful cookies than these speculaas and springerle cookies. These old European cookies are truly special.

• 1/4 tsp Mace, ground

• 1/4 tsp Nutmeg, ground

• 1/2 tsp Salt

• 1/4 tsp White pepper, freshly ground
