This church looks short and squat from the outside and sits uncomfortably in it's little square, bulging, an ugly duckling! The exterior fails to suggest any majesty compared to Vienna's other large palaces of worship such as Stephandom & Karlskirche, but then you go inside! The baroque interior is so busy and heavy with detail that it is impossible to take in what you are seeing.
