I am so happy to introduce my first pattern here on etsy. This quilt is a mixture of black and white fat quarters that I had on hand. The black and white needed a little more so I added some flowers and the bright pink was just perfect! This pattern is aimed at beginners. Not much cutting and easy applique. The pattern is easy to follow and you really can put your own touches on the quilt. A template for the flowers is included. The template can be made bigger or smaller depending on the size of flower that you want. There are three sizes represented here on the sample quilt. MATERIALS REQUIRED: 6 fat quarters in varying patterns of black and white 2 fat quarters in bright pink (or other bright color) for the flowers ½ yard solid white for the border ⅜ yard bright pink for the binding Heat and bond (if desired) for appliqué flowers 3 yards of a coordinating color for backing 47" x 52" batting Finished size 43" x 47.5" *this pattern would work well using 2 charm packs or a layer cake.
