I’ve received thousands of messages, questions, and comments from you guys about substitutions, storage, etc, so please see the updates down below. This Hot Honey Ranch is deliciously creamy, sweet, and spicy. It’s perfect for drizzling on pizza, wings, sandwiches—it’s hard to go wrong. Pair this sauce with a crispy and hoppy Cold IPA. You can find the full recipe below and the Cold IPA on the website. Cheers! INGREDIENTS *Makes 1.5 cups + 1 C avocado oil + 1/2 C crushed red chili flakes + 1 TBSP sesame seeds + 2 cloves garlic, minced + 2 tsp salt + 5 oz Greek yogurt + 2 TBSP fresh dill, roughly chopped + 1/3 C honey + Homemade Ranch Seasoning (see below) HOMEMADE RANCH SEASONING + 2 tsp garlic powder + 1 tsp onion powder + 1/2 tsp dried parsley + 1/4 tsp mustard powder + Salt to taste STORAGE: Refrigerate for up to 10 days in an air-tight container. HEAT LEVEL: Please note this is HOT HOT HOT. If you want to make a milder version, cut the chili flakes down to about 2 TBSP. GREEK YOGURT SUBSTITUTE: Sour cream, mayo, or plain yogurt (unsweetened). AVOCADO OIL SUBSTITUTE: Any neutral-flavored oil. DILL SUBSTITUTE: This is key to the ranch flavor, but leave it out if you don’t like dill— it’ll still be delicious. MIX WELL: Use a whisk to thoroughly blend everything together. The oil needs to be emulsified. DIRECTIONS + STEP 1: HEAT OIL Heat avocado oil to 250°F. + STEP 2: MAKE CHILI OIL To a wok or deep pan, add the crushed red chili flakes, sesame seeds, garlic cloves, and salt. Pour hot oil over the ingredients and mix. + STEP 3: COOL CHILI OIL Let the chili oil cool. + STEP 4: COMBINE RANCH INGREDIENTS Once the chili oil has cooled, add all remaining ingredients: Greek yogurt, Ranch Seasoning, honey, and dill. Mix thoroughly. + STEP 5: SERVE Serve with pizza, onion rings, or mozzarella sticks. Pair with a refreshing Cold IPA. #hothoney #hothoneyranch #coldipa #IPA #beerpairing #casitamaderecipes | Ryan Carter 🍻
1.8M views · 128K reactions | Garlic Fire Oil. This is a spicy infused olive oil with fresh garlic, jalapeños, and crushed red pepper. It’s great on pasta, bread, pizza— you name it. Use it the same as you would for olive oil. + STORAGE Once filtered, the Garlic Fire Oil will last about one month. No refrigeration is needed. DIRECTIONS + STEP 1: HEAT Submerge a 1-qt mason jar in a pot full of water and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil to 350°F. + STEP 2: COMBINE Carefully remove the mason jar from the water with tongs (WARNING! The jar and water will be extremely hot and will burn if touched). Ensure no water is left in the jar, then add the red pepper, jalapenos, and garlic. We leave the garlic cloves whole for a lighter garlic flavor. However, coarsely chopping the cloves will increase the garlic intensity. Then, carefully pour in the hot oil. Allow to completely cool and infuse for at least 2-3 hours. + STEP 3: STRAIN Once cooled, strain the oil and serve. The full recipe for this is now on my website (click the link in my bio). #garlicfireoil #infusedoliveoil #fireoil #casitamaderecipes | Ryan Carter 🍻 | Cam'Ron · Hey Ma
