Let Go 04:40
Let you go Float away I should go Go to sleep Embers blow Fire through you Faded glow Can't see through I should have known I should have known That life can be hard Dwelling home Down the street Lesson learned Not a feat Embers blow Fire through you Faded glow Can't see through I should have known I should have known That life can be hard I should have known I should have known That I can't let go

Felt the wave of Underwater Blue Deep dive swim I'm smothered Under you I felt the wave It's gone away Like you With a tidal wave You'll fade away Into blue Drifting away To a better life Drowning Shaking Liquid moonlight With everything You've piled Pressure on all sides Sinking feeling Numb further down Felt the wave of Underwater Blue Deep dive swim I'm smothered Under you I felt the wave It's gone away Like you With a tidal wave You'll fade away Into blue Beneath the wave Drowning embrace Pooling inside Numb further down Losing sense of self Downward typhoon I'll just float away and never Drifting away Felt the wave of Underwater Blue Deep dive swim I'm smothered Under you I felt the wave It's gone away Like you With a tidal wave You'll fade away Into blue

Warmth 01:23
It's so cold at the bottom It's lonely outside I think I've forgotten It's not my first time It's the times that I've though of Your lonely embrace Waves crash through cold I still miss your warmth I still miss your warmth

Halfstep 02:44
The day feels tired In a way It feels normal A weight That I wont lift The way I'm feeling The way I lose Seal the day All the way Feel the same Ride the wave The way I see it It just wont move Today We just disappear And I know It wont last This long Oh so long Felt gone Gone too Long Alone Seal the day All the way Feel the same Ride the wave

about

After a brief studio hiatus, Old Coke is back with their latest release Blood Orange.
Since the band’s 2022 breakout EP, Sorted, Old Coke has gained underground momentum sharing shows with scene bands such as Glare, Gleemer, and Ringo Deathstarr.

While their fan base and short tour gained traction, the need to record new music started mounting.

Blood Orange sees Old Coke return with a refreshed and first time, four-piece line up.
Self recorded at the band members homes along with help from Joe Gac (Meat Wave) on the drum recordings done at Kildare Studios in Chicago, Adam Stilson on the mix at Decade music Studios, and Nick Townsend for the master.

Kevin Levonyak has joined the band on drums, continuing the drum and guitar driven approach of the previous releases. Kevin Rivas has joined on bass providing a powerful bass perspective panning from a few different genres throughout hardcore and metal, and Ethan Vvirurly has joined on lead guitar after holding things down on bass and guitar live throughout the band's line up transition.

This new EP includes playing from all new members and spans throughout the modern shoegaze sound, bringing elements of noise, alternative, indie, and at times, pop.
Blood Orange finds the band moving in a more structured approach to songwriting with more melodic hooks than previous material while maintaining the grit and noise initially established on their first two releases.
