The continuity case
- Still running. When a platform reaches end of life, that's our problem, not yours. Pressflow 6 and Drupal 7 stay first-class, D7 on the latest PHP 8.5, with the built-in Drupal 6 → 7 → Backdrop upgrade chain when you choose it.
- Still maintained. We made Drupal 9, 10 and 11 run on Ægir when the field called it impossible, then took over its stewardship.
- Runs itself. The stack watches, repairs and defends itself: crashed services restart alone, traffic storms are shed automatically, updates arrive hands-free; on hosted plans, file backups every 6 hours and nightly database backups, kept 90 days.
- Yours to own. Open source top to bottom, on independent open components, running on any server in any country, so leaving is always possible and no vendor's licence pivot reaches your stack.
- Still one team. One team since 1995, no private-equity owner. We already carried customers across Perl to PHP, a crossing bigger than any Drupal version bump.
