Nic Brown Few people could have thought spacerap oddity Onoe Caponoe could top the (inter)stellar joyride that was last year's "Voices From Planet Cattele", but fuck me with a rusty ridgepole, he's gone and done just that. "Spells From The Cyclops" is a voyage to music's outermost limits; an hour of unimaginably strange and surreal hip-hop that posits a whole new and unexplored future for the genre. How an Oasis fan could laud the lumpen trudge of, say, "Don't Look Back In Anger" as being as good as it ever gets when genii like Onoe are producing music as far out as this is utterly beyond me. Wake the fuck up people. Favorite track: Delix In The Machine.
