Münchener Medizinische Wochenschrift was a German medical journal.
Münchener Medizinische Wochenschrift began publishing under that title in 1886, succeeding Aerztliches Intelligenz-Blatt and continuing its volume numbering. In 1944, it suspended publication, and a periodical called Medizinische Zeitschrift took over for it and some other German medical journals for a few months before the end of World War II. Münchener Medizinische Wochenschrift resumed publication in 1950, picking up volume numbering where it had left off in 1944. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) It added "MMW" to the front of its title in 1974. In 1999 it merged with Fortschritte der Medizin to become MMW - Fortschritte der Medizin, which continues to be published today.
