The Magic Carpet Magazine began in 1933, succeeding Oriental Stories and continuing its issue numbering. (The cover title of the first issue is "Oriental Stories Combined With the Magic Carpet Magazine", with the words before "Magic Carpet" in smaller type.) No issue copyright renewals were found for this serial. The first copyright-renewed contribution is from April 1933 (v. 3 no. 2). (More details) The Magic Carpet Magazine ran until 1934.
