The Marshall County Independent was a newspaper published in Plymouth, Marshall County, Indiana in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The title varied over time by edition.

Publication History

The Marshall County Independent began in 1894 as a weekly newspaper. A daily edition, The Daily Independent, began in 1895. The weekly edition became the Semi-Weekly Independent later that year, but then became The Marshall County Independent again and a weekly in 1897. The weekly ceased publication in 1902; the Daily Independent continued until 1909.
