McCall's
McCall's was an American women's magazine popular in the 20th century. (There is a Wikipedia article about this serial.)
Publication History
McCall's began publishing under that title in 1897. It succeeded "The Queen of Fashion" (which in turn succeeded The Queen, founded in 1873). Early issues of McCall's used "The Queen of Fashion" as a subtitle. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is February 1929 (v. 56 no. 5), © January 10, 1929. The first actively copyright-renewed contribution is from February 1929. (More details) In 2001 the magazine was renamed Rosie, after editor and celebrity Rosie O'Donnell, but publication ended in 2002.
