Minutes of the Washington Annual Conference, Methodist Episcopal Church was the annual record of the Washington Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, a conference created for African American Methodists in Washington, D. C. and nearby states. The title varied somewhat over time (as did the precise geographic range of the conference).
This conference was created in 1864 as "The Washington Conference of Colored Members", on the eve of emancipation in Maryland. Geographically, it overlapped with other Methodist Episcopal conferences led by whites. The main present-day Methodist conference covering its area is the Baltimore-Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church.
