The Monthly Treasury was the original name of a periodical serving Calvinistic Methodists and Presbyterians of Wales. The periodical published articles on religion and national news, as well as serialized stories. Early editors included John Williams, Hugh Joshua Hughes, and J. Glyn Davies.
The Monthly Treasury began in 1894, incorporating earlier serials "Monthly Tidings" and "Christian Standard". It began a new series in 1900. In 1913 the periodical became the Treasury, which is still published today by the Presbyterian Church of Wales.
