Modern Electrics was an American magazine for amateur radio and electronics enthusiasts, founded by Hugo Gernsback. (There is a Wikipedia article about this serial.)

Publication History

Modern Electrics began in 1908. In 1914 it merged with Electrician and Mechanic to become Modern Electrics and Mechanics. That magazine went through further mergers in the next couple of years, eventually being absorbed into Popular Science.
