Publication History

The Month was founded in 1864 by Frances Margaret Taylor (also known as Mother Magdalen Taylor). It became a Jesuit publication the following year. It absorbed The Catholic Review in 1874, and published for some time afterwards as The Month and Catholic Review, reverting to The Month in 1882. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) The Month ceased publication in 2001.
