The Morning Astorian was the title of a newspaper published in Astoria, Oregon in the late 19th and early 20th century.

Publication History

The Morning Astorian began publishing under that title in 1899, succeeding The Daily Morning Astorian. It absorned the Astoria Daily News in 1903. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) The Morning Astorian ran under that title until 1930, when it merged with the Astoria Evening Budget to become the Evening Astorian-Budget. The newspaper's present-day successor is called The Astorian.
