Publication History

The Nation and the Athenaeum began in 1921 as a merger of the earlier publications 'The Nation' and 'The Athenaeum'. It carried on the issues on volume numbering of The Nation. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) It ran until 1931, when it was absorbed by the New Statesman (which would then publish as The New Statesman and Nation until the 1950s).
