Publication History

Newsweek began in 1933 as News-Week. The title dropped the hyphen in late 1937. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is January 8, 1951 (v. 37 no. 2). The first actively copyright-renewed contribution is from November 13, 1939. (More details) We are not aware of active copyrights in the issues linked below. Print publication ceased in 2012, but has since resumed, under new ownership, along with an online website.
