Nomos

Nomos is a series of volumes published by the American Society for Political and Legal Philosophy, usually once every year. Each volume includes a series of articles around a common theme that titles the volume.

Publication History

Nomos began in 1958. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is v. 2, © 1959. We know of no actively copyright-renewed contributions. (More details) It is still published today.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1963: We list volume 6, "Justice", edited by Carl J. Friedrich and John W. Chapman.
• 1989: We list volume 31, "Markets and Justice", edited by John W. Chapman and J. Roland Pennock.
• 1991: We list volume 33, "Compensatory Justice", edited by John W. Chapman.
• 1998: We list volume 40, "Integrity and Conscience", edited by Ian Shapiro and Robert Adams.
