The Old Farmer's Almanac is a long-running American annual, now issued by the publishers of Yankee magazine. The title varied somewhat in its early years. (There is a Wikipedia article about this serial.)
The Old Farmer's Almanac was founded in 1792 by Robert B. Thomas, and its first edition (or 'number') was dated 1793. Issues are typically dated for the year after they are published. Early numbers were titled The Farmer's Almanac (a name also used by other publications), or Farmer's Almanack. "Almanac" was the spelling used in the first number and in more recent ones. "Old" was first added to the title for the 1832 number, and permanently added with the 1848 number. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) It is still published today.
