The Open Road

The Open Road was the "official organ of the Society of the Universal Brotherhood of Man", whose members were the subscribers to the magazine. It was founded by Bruce Calvert, who originally edited and published it in Indiana, and later in New York.

Publication History

The first issue of The Open Road is dated September 1908. It is unclear how long the periodical ran, bur a retrospective titled "Thirty Years of the Open Road" was published in 1941.
