Publication History

Organic Syntheses published its first volume in 1921. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is 1929 (v. 9). We know of no actively copyright-renewed contributions. (More details) It is still published today.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1921-present: The Organic Syntheses website has all their published methods free to access. Many have been revised, corrected, or had safety precautions added since their original publication.
• 1921-1927: HathiTrust has volumes 1-7 as originally published.
• 1922: Project Gutenberg has a transcription of volume 2 as originally published.
